| About Retail Management |
| This six month Diploma course covers
about departmental store retailing and shopping
mall retaining business. There is a huge demand
for retail management professionals for processing
of all merchandise shipments, achieving store sales
and profitability, comm-unication with the clients
to gain their satisfaction, administration of stores
etc. With the spurt of shopping malls and departmental
stores huge employment opportunities are opening
up in India and abroad. In this course students
will be undergoing 1 theory papers and live case
studies throughout the course, with on the job training
at various retail outlets/ malls in and around Mumbai
city. The certificate will be awarded to the student
appearing for MSBVE examination successfully. This
course aims at giving value aided qualification
to the students that would increase the chances
of growth and EMPLOYMENT oppor-tunities in their
careers. This course can be undertaken by the under
graduates in any field i.e. after 10 +2 and along
with their graduation it can be pursued with the

under relevant sections of Self Employment Schemes.
Students also receive Complimentary Certificate
after successful completion of Complimentary Modules.
